When you use insurance you are generally only responsible for a copayment. If you have an annual deductible you will be responsible for the full contracted insurance/managed care rate until your deductible is satisfied. Note that this rate varies per insurance company and can be provided to you by Dr. Conti if necessary. Payment is expected before or at time of service.
If we are a participating provider on your plan we will submit claims directly to your insurance company to help you satisfy your deductible in a timely manner.
Note that many insurance companies will not cover e-therapy (webcam) and phone sessions; you will need to provide documentation from your insurance company stating that they cover psychological counseling via online e-therapy and/or phone in order for us to bill insurance. We will be happy to provide you an itemized receipt for you to submit for reimbursement.

If you have an insurance plan that is not listed above you may still use your “out of network benefit”. In this case you would pay your full fee upfront at the time services are rendered and submit your receipt to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. We may be able to submit claims to some out of network plans if they are included in our billing system.
*Please note that some services may not routinely be covered by insurance, such as psychological testing, assessments, certain evaluations or specialty services/treatments that Dr. Conti provides.
General Fee Information
All fees are due at the beginning of the session. Online and phone session fees are required by credit/debit card at the time of the session. Money orders can also be used but must be received prior to a scheduled online or phone session. No checks are accepted for online or phone sessions.
In person session fees can be in cash or by credit/debit card. Checks are not accepted at the initial session but may be an option for future sessions once a trusting therapeutic relationship has been established.
There is a 4% credit card/debit card administrative fee for each transaction.

Credit/debit card and other sensitive payment information will be communicated directly to Dr. Conti in person or over the phone to protect your privacy.
There are no free initial consultations.
Missed appointments or those canceled less than 24 hours from the scheduled appointment time are subject to a $75.00 missed appointment fee as noted in the consent for treatment form.
